Job summary

Exacta is seeking a CAD Drafter for Commercial Land Surveying. The role focuses on design work for final survey prep and metes & bounds, reporting to the Business Unit Leader.

Office-based with some physical tasks and standard hours, occasional weekend work in busy seasons. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Survey Manager, performing precise mathematical calculations, and producing topographic, boundary and construction drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; higher degree preferred.
• 3+ years of drafting experience in surveying.
• Proficient CAD and surveying skills.
• Strong communication and client-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects with Survey Manager to define parameters and drafting needs.
• Perform mathematical calculations (algebra, trigonometry, geometry).
• Prepare topographic, as-built, boundary and other survey drawings; construction drawings for civil work.
• Support field crews with point files and interpretations; maintain accurate timesheets.
