You will work with leadership to prepare proposals and project estimates, coordinate with internal departments, and support marketing and client relations while maintaining high professional standards on site and in the office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred, or commensurate relevant experience.
• Professional Land Surveying registration preferred.
• Five or more years of land surveying or related land development experience, including professional project management experience.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and project teams.
• Familiarity with financial principles.

Responsibilities

• Receive broad guidance from senior-level management relating to objectives and policy; assist in managing people and processes to ensure execution.
• Assist manager in securing repeat business from existing clients and identifying new clients.
• Coordinate with other internal departments to meet project requirements.
• Participate in meetings with prospective clients, proposal preparations, and budgets and schedules.
• Maintain liaison with clients and work with Project Manager to resolve questions including technical and billing inquiries.
• Review project changes and determine staffing and budget effects.
• Supervise survey project personnel to meet high professional standards.
• Define scope of multiple complex projects and develop plans to accomplish land survey work; monitor progress and report status.
• Review job cost sheets and prepare monthly billings; ensure budgets are kept.
