Job Description

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer! This role is open to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard Members, Military Spouses, and Caregivers of War Wounded. To be considered, please follow the application instructions provided.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring security systems to detect suspicious activity
• Documenting events and incidents with detailed reports
• Responding quickly to incidents or threats
• Conducting regular patrols for safety assurance
• Controlling access and verifying visitor identities
• Analyzing security systems for vulnerabilities
• Collaborating with law enforcement during emergencies

Site Location: Westwego, LA

Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 6am-6pm (36 hours/week)

Wage and Benefits: $16.60/hour, with DailyPay option, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays, disability, life insurance, uniform provided

Qualifications:

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong report writing and observation skills
• Proficiency with technology
• Security/Military/Law Enforcement experience preferred
• State license if required
