Job summary

Silver Sevens Hotel in Las Vegas is seeking a Surveillance Operator to monitor casino and non-casino areas and report any violations. The role includes patrolling with PTZ cameras, maintaining event logs, and completing incident reports as needed.

The candidate will train on-site and must be able to operate video management systems and standard software, while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and following Nevada gaming rules.

Qualifications

• All employees must be knowledgeable of company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
• Prefer at least 6 months' previous experience in a similar position within the gaming industry.
• Will train the right candidate.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor activities in all gaming and non-gaming areas and report violations.
• Patrol the facility using cameras (pan, tilt, zoom) and log events in the digital recording system.
• Complete incident reports as required and maintain confidentiality of observations.
• Operate a computer and surveillance systems, and use Microsoft Office and web-based tools.
• Monitor automated machines (bill breakers, vouchers, jackpot payouts, ATMs) and record activity.

$1,000 RETENTION BONUS!
The Surveillance Operator observes activities that occur in all gaming and non-gaming areas. They report all violations of gaming, safety, health and/or policy and procedural violations that occur.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Knowledge of all casino table including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Poker ect.(Will train the right candidate).
• Familiarity of slot machine games.
• Ability to operate Video Management devices.
• When assigned to the monitoring room, patrol the facility throught the use of pan, tilt and zoom cameras and record all pertinent activity on the digital recording system. Maintain a log of events as they occur and complete incident reports as circumstance dictate.
• Ability to use a computer, including Video Management Surveillance Systems, Internet (Web based) products, and Microsoft Office products.
• Monitors the operations conducted at automated bill breaker machines, automated gaming voucher and coupon redemption machines, automated jackpot payout machines and automated teller machines.
• Through knowledge of property policies and procedures.
• Through knowledge of Nevada gaming regulations and house gaming rules.
• Must proactively notify management of any gaming, procedural and policy violations.
• Must remain impartial and keep all actions and behaviors observed confidential.
• Vison correctable to 20/20. A vison test may be required.
• Must be able to give court testimony when necessary and write detailed reports.
• Assists in random team member audits.
• Other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
