Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year of surveillance experience.
• Ability to obtain a valid gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of workstations and equipment.
• Performs close watch duties as assigned.
• Maintains familiarity with gaming law, regulations, company policies and procedures.
• Receives periodic on-the-job training.
• Diligently monitors all company assets and employees for violations.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of procedures and policies for all departments.
• Enforces department procedures by observing and reporting non-compliance.
• Maintains detailed, accurate logs.
• Identifies suspicious behavior or policy violations promptly.
• Monitors gaming tables, slots, and cage operations for irregularities.
• Reports equipment malfunctions or blind spots to supervisors promptly.
• Responds to cross-department requests without compromising surveillance integrity.
• Participates in shift briefings and stays current with watch lists.
• Maintains continuous observation of all assigned areas via CCTV systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains cleanliness of workstations and equipment.
• Performs close watch duties as assigned.
• Maintains familiarity with gaming law, regulations, company policies and procedures.
• Receives periodic on-the-job training.
• Diligently monitors all company assets as well as monitoring all employees for procedural violations.
• Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of procedures and policies for all departments.
• Enforces department procedures by observing and reporting any failure to comply with company policy or gaming regulation.
• Maintains up to the minute, detailed, and accurate logs.
• Identifies and documents suspicious behavior, cheating attempts, theft, or policy violations in a timely and accurate manner
• Monitors gaming tables, slot machines, and cage operations for irregularities or procedural deviations
• Promptly reports equipment malfunctions or blind spots to supervisors and follows up to ensure resolution
• Responds promptly to requests from other departments without compromising surveillance integrity
• Participates in shift briefings and remains current on all updated procedures and watch lists
• Maintains continuous observation of all assigned gaming areas, cash handling zones, and public spaces via CCTV systems
• Operates and maintains surveillance cameras, recording systems, and related equipment at peak performance
• All other duties assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Maintain interpersonal working relationships among personnel.
• Oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the position.
• Demonstrates proficiency with all surveillance software and monitoring platforms used by the department
• Adheres to all applicable gaming regulations, internal controls, and Title 31 requirements
• Maintains strict confidentiality of surveillance activities, investigations, and findings
• Cooperates fully with gaming control board audits and law enforcement requests
• Communicates effectively with surveillance supervisors, security, and gaming floor management regarding incidents or concerns
• Maintains a professional, unbiased, and objective approach in all surveillance activities
• Pursues ongoing training and development related to gaming protection and surveillance techniques

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma.
• Preferred 1 year of surveillance experience.
• Ability to obtain a valid gaming license.
