Job summary

Delaware North Gaming is seeking a Surveillance Officer to join our Daytona Beach, Florida team. You will monitor gaming and security activities across the property, produce written reports, ensure cameras and systems are operational, and uphold gaming regulations.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of related experience, be able to obtain a state gaming license, and possess strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage crowds effectively.
• Computer skills including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets, routine database activity, and record keeping.
• Loss Prevention monitoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all areas of the property, including but not limited to gaming and cage activity, food and beverage activity, and security of the facility and the entire property.
• Produce written reports and logs on any observed violations and illegal activity in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all cameras and computer systems are operational at all times.
• Ensure that all state racing and gaming regulations and polices are followed.
• Comply with confidentiality regulations regarding all surveillance information including camera coverage, investigations, and proprietary material.

The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is seeking a full-time Surveillance Officer to join our team at Daytona Poker Room in Daytona Beach, Florida. As a Surveillance Officer, you will be conducting facility-wide surveillance camera operations to assist in the protection and safety of the property for guests and team members.

Pay

$17.00 – $17.00 / hour

• Work environment may consist of a dark area viewing video monitors for entire shift
• Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
