Job summary

Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ is seeking a Surveillance Officer to observe casino activities and ensure compliance with NJ regulations and company policies.

You will monitor the CCTV system, record and report incidents, and coordinate with security and other departments to maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.

The position requires strong observation, accurate reporting, confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Observes activities of casino guests and employees.


• Monitors all casino operations, including table games, slots, cashiering cage and count rooms, by way of the closed circuit television (CCTV) system for criminal activity and/or violations of NJ regulations and company policies and procedures.


• Records and documents such activities where appropriate and reports the activities to appropriate officials.


• Monitors property alarms and communicates effectively with responding parties.


• Completes detailed incident reports and daily logs.


• Promotes positive public relations.


• Handles sensitive information and maintains confidentiality.


• Performs other duties as assigned.


• NOTE: EMPLOYEES MUST ADHERE TO THE REGULATIONS SET FORTH IN N.J.A.C. 13:69D-1.10 and 1.11, AND MUST SIGN AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THESE REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO BEING EMPLOYED IN THE SURVEILLANCE DEPARTMENT.
