Job summary

Lemieux & Associates, a national leader in the investigative industry, seeks experienced Field Investigators in the Brooklyn, NY area. This part-time role can become full-time for the right candidate.

You will perform field surveillance to document claims and prepare detailed reports, with travel across assigned territory and flexible hours including weekends. Responsibilities include background checks, scene diagrams, and timely, accurate reporting while upholding high legal/ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting surveillance as a private investigator is required.
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus.
• Associates/Bachelor in Criminal Justice or related field is beneficial.
• Ability to conduct written and recorded statements is a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for assignments by reviewing instructions and case info.
• Conduct field investigations and perform surveillance to obtain evidence.
• Review court and government records for background checks.
• Communicate progress with Case Manager and client.
• Submit accurate, timely investigation reports and closing documents.
• Maintain organized case files and confidentiality.
