Job summary

Lemieux & Associates LLC, a national leader in the investigative industry, is seeking experienced Field Investigators in the Brooklyn, NY area. This is a part-time position to start with the potential to become full-time for the right candidate.

A majority of work involves field surveillance, obtaining high quality videotape documentation for workers' compensation and liability/personal injury claims, and timely reporting. Join a dedicated team with experienced leadership and room to grow.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting field surveillance as a private investigator is required/advantageous.
• Bi-lingual ability is a plus for some cases.
• Associates or Bachelors in Criminal Justice or related field is a plus.
• Ability to conduct written and recorded statements is a plus.
• Proficiency in photography of evidence and report writing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for assignments by reviewing client instructions and case objectives.
• Conduct field investigations and surveillance to obtain video/evidence.
• Review court records and government files for background checks.
• Communicate with Case Manager and clients on progress and recommendations.
• Document findings clearly and timely; maintain organized case files.
• Testify to facts in hearings or court when required.
• Complete assignments by deadlines and protect confidentiality.
