Job summary

Lemieux & Associates LLC is seeking experienced Field Investigators in the Buffalo, NY area. This part-time position may become full-time for the right candidate. The role focuses on high-quality field surveillance and producing timely, credible reports for workers' compensation and liability/personal injury matters.

Required are private investigator surveillance experience, strong written communication, and the ability to travel. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting surveillance as a private investigator is required.
• Bi-lingual is a plus
• Associates/Bachelor, Degree in Criminal Justice or related field is a plus
• Ability to conduct written and recorded statements
• Ability to accurately photograph evidence (accident scenes, vehicle damage) is a plus
• Must have valid state driver's license and reliable vehicle

Responsibilities

• Prepare for assignments by reviewing client instructions and case info.
• Conduct field investigations and surveillance to obtain evidence.
• Review court records and governmental records for background checks.
• Communicate progress with Case Manager and clients.
• Complete investigations in a timely manner per client instructions.
• Maintain confidentiality and organized case files.
• Testify to facts in hearings or court as needed.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by management.
