GardaWorld Security is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer (GSOC) in Tampa, FL. You will monitor CCTV feeds, respond to incidents, and enforce procedures in a security operations environment.

The job requires open availability for any shift, sharp observation, and the ability to write detailed reports. GardaWorld offers $23.50 per hour, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, paid holidays, disability and life insurance, plus a uniform at no cost.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report writing skills required.
• Good eyesight and ability to maintain focus.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Class D Security License.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Read and write detailed reports.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents with detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities.
• Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in emergencies.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.
