Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Casino Surveillance Officer to monitor electronic surveillance equipment, ensuring compliance with laws, procedures and regulations while protecting assets at our Las Vegas properties.

The role requires knowledge of CCTV systems, familiarity with casino games, and the ability to use Microsoft Office. Candidates should be able to stand or walk for extended periods and obtain necessary licenses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 6 months casino surveillance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CCTV system, all casino games, and Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
• Must be able to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain certifications/licenses as required by local gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

• Observe gaming and non-gaming activity via surveillance equipment to ensure compliance and protect assets.
• Observe, document and report variances to controls, money handling and gaming regs.
• Complete daily audits of department activity and duty logs; cooperate with investigations.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of table games and gaming functions.
• Respond promptly to unusual or suspicious activities and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description

Observe gaming and non-gaming activity by monitoring electronic surveillance equipment to ensure compliance with applicable laws, procedures, regulations and rules and protect company assets from illegal or questionable activities.

• Observe, document and report any variances to the company, internal controls, money handling activity and state gaming regulations.
• Complete daily audits of department activity, duty logs and cooperate with departments during investigations.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of all table games and gaming functions.
• Respond immediately to any activities that appear unusual or suspicious.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CCTV system, all casino games, working knowledge of Microsoft office programs such as excel and Word.
• Must be able to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time.
