What You’ll DoAs a Journey Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for everyone involved in the surrogacy process:- Guide the Process: Manage all phases of the surrogacy journey, from the initial match to postpartum support.
- Educate and Support: Help surrogates and intended parents understand every step, providing thoughtful guidance along the way.
- Build Connections: Serve as the primary contact for intended parents, surrogates, legal experts, medical teams, and counselors.
- Communicate Proactively: Address questions, resolve challenges, and ensure everyone feels heard and supported.
- Maintain Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost professionalism and care.
- Ensure Compliance: Follow ethical standards and industry regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the Team: Work with colleagues to support shared goals and deliver the best outcomes.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking someone with the following qualifications:- Education:Required: Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW)
- Experience: At least four years in social work (excluding internships) or Labor & Delivery. Experience with surrogacy, adoption, or reproductive services is a strong plus. A background in working with women and pregnancies is highly desirable.
- Skills: Exceptional communication (both written and verbal), strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage sensitive situations with care. Proficiency in digital tools is essential.
- Personal Traits: Organized, adaptable, and proactive. Empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are must-haves.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work outside typical office hours as needed, including evenings and weekends, to support surrogates and intended parents in different time zones or during critical moments in their journeys.
- Cultural Sensitivity: A proven ability to work effectively with individuals from various cultural, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds while respecting all family structures.
Additional Details- Position Type: Full-time, salaried role (FLSA Exempt).
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as required to meet the needs of surrogates and intended parents.
