Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Veterinary Technician - Surgery at our All Valley Animal Care Center in Meridian, ID. The role focuses on surgical patient care, IV access, anesthesia setup, and monitoring, with a strong emphasis on Fear Free handling and compassionate nursing.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of clinical experience and a veterinary technician license; surgery experience is required. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available and schedule includes Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

Qualifications

• Licensure as a veterinary technician preferred.
• 2–3 years of clinical experience in veterinary settings.
• Surgery experience required in a surgical-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Give accurate and detailed patient rounds.
• Administer IV medications and manage IV fluids.
• Set up IV catheter placement and maintain in-house protocol.
