Qualifications

• AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program graduate.
• Active state license in good standing required.
• Experience in anesthesia or surgical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Anesthesia and Patient Monitoring: induce, maintain, monitor under general anesthesia and adjust depth as needed.
• Ensure Precise Drug Calculation and Administration: accurate dosing of anesthetics and medications.
• Master Surgical Assist and Sterile Technique: assist surgeons and maintain aseptic protocols.
• Perform Phlebotomy and Diagnostics: venipuncture, sample collection, IV catheter placement.
• Provide Post-Operative and Critical Care: monitor recovery, manage pain and complications.
• Create a Positive Client Experience: discharge planning and post-op instructions.
• Drive Operational Excellence and Mentorship: maintain records and mentor staff.
