Job summary

Mercy is seeking an LPN to join the 6 Surgical unit, delivering compassionate bedside care to post-operative and medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

You’ll work closely with RNs and physicians to monitor vitals, perform focused assessments, assist with wound care, administer medications, document in the EMR, and support early mobility and discharge planning to improve patient outcomes every shift.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed LPN in Oklahoma.
• Experience in surgical/medical-surgical units preferred.
• Proficient in documenting patient care in the EMR.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside care to post-operative and medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient status.
• Assist with wound care and mobility early in recovery.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for effects.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and discharge plans.
