Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Surgical Technology.
• Graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a national programmatic accreditation agency.
• Credential in surgical technology through a national certification program accredited by NCCA.
• At least three years of documented experience in the scrub role, Surgical Technology instruction, or both in the last five years.
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and student evaluation processes.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic, laboratory, simulation, and clinical courses.
• Coordinate student clinical experiences with clinical affiliates.
• Maintain relationships with clinical affiliates and accreditation bodies.
