Qualifications

• Credential in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program accredited by the NCCA.
• Associate degree in Surgical Technology or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Surgical Technology industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Surgical Technology program.
• Complete accreditation review processes.
• Coordinate classroom instruction, clinical, conferences and meetings.
• Develop, review and evaluate courses.
• Recruit and advise students on course programs and curriculum.
• Manage course registrations, enrollments and program budget.
• Recruit and train adjunct instructors.
• Maintain, order and organize equipment, supplies and products.
• Teach courses in Surgical Technology and related fields as necessary.
• Develop and maintain articulation agreements.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
• Demonstrate successful teaching experience.
