Qualifikationen

• Associate degree from Surgical Technology program accredited by USDE or CHEA (or military/hospital equivalent).
• Four years of job-related training and experience in surgical technology (for non-graduates).
• Active CST credential NBSTSA.
• Current Colorado license/certification/registration as required by law.
• Minimum three years OR scrub experience within last five years or three years teaching experience in surgical technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficiency with MS Office.

Aufgaben

• Deliver didactic lectures and lead hands-on sterile technique labs.
• Prepare module lesson plans and lead OR lab demonstrations aligned with accreditation standards.
• Verify student skill competency in sterile techniques, instrumentation, and OR safety; grade assignments promptly.
• Guide curriculum and advise students on surgical technology.
• Support student success with attendance tracking and progress monitoring; intervene as needed.
• Maintain attendance records, weekly reports, and final grades for transcripts.
• Arrange guest speakers, externships, and program enrichment activities.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing faculty development.
