Qualifications

• Surgical Technology Associate Degree or completion of a Surgical Technology diploma program.
• Surgical Technologist certificate.
• Minimum one year of current clinical experience in operating room scrub role.

Responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate student learning in online or classroom, clinical, lab, or fieldwork settings.
• Prepare instructional materials and discussions aligned to syllabus and learning outcomes.
• Use diverse active-learning strategies and varied assessments to evaluate student performance.
• Incorporate instructional technology and online content into teaching.
• Promote critical thinking and high standards of competence in students.
• Assign patients to student care based on session objectives.
• Assist in updating syllabi, textbooks, and other instructional resources.
• Conduct periodic workshops to educate faculty on emerging practices in healthcare delivery.
