MU Health Care is seeking a dedicated surgical technician to join their surgical team. Candidates should possess strong coordination and organizational skills, ensuring all aspects of the surgical process run smoothly from pre-op to post-op. Shift: Monday - Friday, 3 x 12; 6:30am to 7pm
Department: Operating Room UHCompensation:
Base Pay Range:
Special Pay: Additional $2.50 per hour until August 23, 2025
Shift Differentials:Additional $2 per hour evenings/nights/weekends
Retention Rewards:Up to $15,000
Relocation Support:Additional $5,000 if moving from over 50 miles away
Retention Reward (Option 1):$2,000 per year for up to 5 years, totaling $10,000
Student Loan Repayment (Option 2):$2,000 per year toward student loans, up to 5 years, totaling $10,000

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
One (1) year of experience as a surgical technologist. Completion of an accredited surgical tech program, the MU Health Care Surgical Tech program, or military training may be substituted.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Training and experience in all areas of specialty and Trauma (Level I) call.
Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
