Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, MI seeks a Surgical Technologist to assist the surgical team in procedures and in selecting instruments and supplies. The role requires NBSTSA certification, a high school diploma, completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program, and 1–2 years of related experience.
This is an onsite, full-time position with duties including patient preparation and instrument handling.

Graduation from high school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Completion of an accredited or military Surgical Technologist program or a program pending immediate accreditation.
Certification from The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
One year of Surgical Technologist Senior experience, in good standing, at the University of Michigan Health System.

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the United Michigan Medicine Allied Professionals (UMMAP), which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act.
