Job summary

USPI Aloe Surgical Center is seeking a motivated Certified Surgical Technologist with sterile processing experience to join our team. The center is a fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment committed to high-quality patient care and family experience.

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist will scrub for procedures, prepare supplies, and support quality improvement activities in Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology and other specialties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed surgical technician program or 2 years of surgical tech experience.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients and physicians.
• Strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for surgical procedures as part of the surgical team.
• Prepare and maintain instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Support quality improvement activities within the center.
• Work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.
