Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Surgical Technologist for Bellevue Medical Center to support the perioperative care team. You will prepare the operating room, ensure sterile instruments, maintain sterility during procedures, and anticipate the needs of the surgical team to aid in safe patient care.

The role requires high school education, a surgical technologist certification, and BLS certification. Shift is 12 hours with on-call on weeknights and weekends.

Qualifikationen

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Surgical technologist certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program OR equivalent training/scrub experience with an accredited institution required.
• BLS certification (BLS with skills assessment or approved BLS) upon completion of unit orientation required, must be from an American Heart Association endorsed program.

• Prepare the operating room and ensure sterile instruments and supplies are available and properly arranged.
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to support safe and efficient patient care.
• Assist surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff before, during, and after surgical procedures.
