Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston seeks a Surgical Technologist to support the Main Operating Room across robotics, gynecologic, thoracic, urologic, and general cases. You will maintain sterile technique, anticipate team needs, and contribute to safe, high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates hold CST certification, complete surgical technologist training, and have experience in high-acuity OR settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program preferred.
• Two or more years of Surgical Tech experience in robotics and multiple surgical procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and execution of complex surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and anticipate surgical team needs.
• Coordinate with the circulator on medications, solutions, and instrumentation.
• Ensure operating rooms are prepared and equipment is functioning properly.
• Support safe, high quality patient care throughout procedures.
