Job summary

Legacy Health in Oregon is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our surgical services team. You will assist in passing instruments and supplies with precision, supporting nursing staff and physicians to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program (or military training), OR and Washington/ Oregon licensure as applicable, and BLS certification at hire. Relocation assistance is available for new Legacy Techs.

Qualifications

• 1 year Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program or completion of a military training program.
• High school diploma or equivalent; alternative military experience considered where applicable.
• BLS certification at hire; CST certification for Oregon employees at hire or within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Participates as part of the surgical team assisting nursing staff for safe patient care.
• Assist in passing instruments and supplies to team members during procedures.
• Prepare and equip surgical suites and maintain sterile technique.
• Assist in non-surgical patient interventions under supervision.
• May serve as Core Technician maintaining sterile technique and supplying instruments.
