Role Overview:

Provides surgical technology support for both direct and indirect patient care. Assists surgeons during operative and invasive procedures, prepares surgical instruments and equipment, and ensures a sterile environment. Acts as a resource, mentors staff and students, and functions as an informal lead technologist when needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Requires an Associate’s Degree or Surgical Technology Certificate, BLS certification within 30 days, and relevant knowledge of surgical procedures. Must demonstrate critical thinking, effective communication, teamwork, adaptability, and mentorship abilities. Flexibility to participate in on-call shifts outside regular hours is essential.
