We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Per Diem Registered Nurse - Short Stay/Telemetry, Days. The successful candidate practices in accordance with the American Nurses Association's (ANA) scope and standards of nursing practice. They utilize their clinical expertise to plan and deliver safe, therapeutic, patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote wellness and optimize patient outcomes, providing leadership by orienting, mentoring, and managing team members to ensure quality care with compassion, dignity, and respect. They participate in performance improvement initiatives impacting patient, family, and service outcomes.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (required for hires after 9/1/2020; grandfathered for those hired before). Current and valid New York State RN license and BLS certification. Knowledge of patient care standards. Excellent communication, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills. 1-2 years of nursing experience.
