St. Joseph’s Wayne Medical Center in New Jersey seeks a surgical technologist to perform technical/clinical functions in Preoperative Nursing Practice under RN supervision, prepare rooms for surgical cases, maintain aseptic technique intraoperatively, and supply instrumentation as required.

Requires completion of an accredited surgical technology program or NBSTSA credential, plus annual continuing education. Offers competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a 403b with company match.

Formación

• Requires completion of an accredited surgical technologist program or equivalent credential.
• Maintains a certified surgical technologist credential (NBSTSA or successor).
• Annual continuing education of 15 hours is required.
• Military or federal service training in surgical tech is acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Performs technical/clinical functions of Preoperative Nursing Practice under RN supervision.
• Responsible for room preparation for the surgical case.
• Maintains aseptic technique intraoperatively.
• Provides instrumentation and supplies as required.
• Knowledgeable in applicable surgical procedures.
