The Position
The Organ Surgical Coordinator (OSC) is responsible for maximizing donation through collaboration with the transplant surgeons to ensure optimal outcomes for donor families and recipients. The OSC is responsible for acting as the surgical technologist during organ procurement and cardiac catheterization cases ensuring aseptic technique, passing instrumentation, and assisting the surgeon as necessary. In addition, the OSC is responsible for the proper flushing, packaging, and labeling of organs after recovery.

Weekday Days (variable Monday-Thursday) 3- 12 hour shifts per week (7:00am-7:00p)
Weekday Nights (variable Monday-Thursday) 3 – 12 hour shifts per week (7:00p-7:00a)
