Job summary

Decypher is seeking a certified Surgical Technologist to support sterile techniques, prepare surgical trays, assist surgeons and clinical staff through pre- and post-operative care, and maintain instrument sterilization and supply levels. The role involves patient intake support, vital signs, and ensuring operating rooms remain clean and safe.

Onsite, typical schedule Monday through Friday, with the team ensuring safe and efficient patient care. U.S.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Surgical Technology program accredited by CAAHEP/ABHES or completion of military training for surgical technicians/surgical technologists/OR technicians.
• BLS certification and CST/TS-C certification or MOS certification in surgical tech.
• One year of experience as a Surgical Technician or OR Technician after graduation.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up sterile techniques, prepare and drape patients for surgery, and assist with post-operative dressings.
• Clean and pack surgical packs for sterilization after every procedure, restocking supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in clinical spaces, ORs, and equipment.
• Assist with preoperative processes: escort patient to exam rooms and take vitals.
• Assist with minor procedures: set up, assist, break down room, transport instruments to SPD, and handle specimens.
