Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program within 1 year of employment.
• Upon hire: National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 5 years of experience in a major service area (i.e. ortho, neuro, trauma, cardiac).

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced skills of the Surgical Tech I and is responsible for maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Maintains room turnover and manages case flow.
• Supports cost containment and financial reimbursement.
