Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Allen, TX is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a full-time day shift in Surgery. You will join a high-volume perioperative team working with robotic and traditional procedures, ensuring prep, sterile technique, and instrument coordination for diverse patient populations.

Candidates should have CST certification (NBSTSA or TS-C/NCCT) and prior OR experience; BCLS required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or military training in surgical technology is required on hire OR preferred.
• CST certification (NBSTSA or TS-C NCCT) is required on hire or prior practice.
• 1 year of current operating room experience is strongly preferred.
• LVN licensure is not required for this CST role.

Responsibilities

• Assist peri-operative care for diverse patient populations.
• Preoperatively assist RN circulator in plan of care.
• Coordinate patient care peri-operatively and maintain professional standards.
• Post-operatively assist with instrument, supply, and equipment handling under supervision.
• Support infection prevention and patient safety during care.
