Job summary

Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, OR is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist the operating room team. You will prepare cases, maintain a sterile field, pass instruments, and support nurses and surgeons during procedures.

Qualifications

• Accredited surgical technology program is required.
• Surgical Technician certification is required.
• CPR or BLS certification required per policy.
• Experience in operating room preferred or related training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical cases and maintain sterile field.
• Retract and pass instruments, supplies, and medications to surgeons.
• Count instruments, sponges, needles, and blades with RN.
• Transports patients and performs clerical duties as needed.
