Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team for the day shift. You will scrub and circulate, supporting physicians throughout diverse surgical procedures and ensuring the availability and readiness of supplies and equipment.

In this role, you will be integral to patient care, with responsibilities spanning care, preparation, and maintenance in the OR; rotating weekends and alternating holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA; if a new graduate, provide exam date before start.
• Certification must be obtained within six months of hire and complete a six‑month probation.
• Completion of a certified OR tech training program or equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist in care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the OR.
• Support physicians during a wide range of orthopedic and general surgical procedures.
