Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Surgical Technologist to provide safe, efficient patient care under RN supervision and with the surgical team. You will scrub, select, prepare and maintain instruments and supplies, applying sterile technique and adapting to perioperative situations.
Required: graduation from an accredited surgical technology program and CST certification within one year of hire; BLS current. Travel and site requirements may apply as part of Mayo Clinic Health System.

The Surgical Technologist:
Graduation from an accredited or military surgical technology program.
License or Certification:
Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers through the AHA or Red Cross.
CST Certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) required within one year of hire date and maintained thereafter.
Surgical Technologists hired at the following locations prior to the identified dates, are not required to have a Surgical Technology certification through NBSTSA:
Internal transfers to Rochester or Southeast Minnesota are required to have the Surgical Technology certification through NBSTSA.
