Job Summary and Qualifications

We seek a Certified Surgical Technologist to provide high-quality, efficient care. Our facility offers robotic surgical technology across various specialties including gynecology, general surgery, thoracic, urology, spine, and joint replacements. We support a collaborative team environment and value patient care as highly as you do.

Responsibilities include:
  • Preparing and organizing operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgeries.
  • Anticipating surgeon and patient needs during procedures.
  • Handling specimens, preparing and monitoring medications, assisting with dressings.
  • Maintaining a sterile environment and sterile field during surgeries.
  • Using proper body mechanics to prevent injury when moving patients and equipment.
  • Adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Participating in ongoing staff orientation and education.
  • Restocking supplies and assisting surgeons and patients with instruments and equipment.
Qualifications required:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR, to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Surgical Tech Certification (NCCT certification not accepted; NBSTSA required).
  • Preferred: One year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
