Job Summary and Qualifications

What You Will Do in This Role:

  • Assist physicians with instruments during surgical procedures in the Operating Room.
  • Manage supplies and equipment, ensuring inventory of instruments is maintained.
  • Coordinate instrumentation and surgical supplies, and prepare the surgical suite for various cases, including trauma.
  • Maintain knowledge of aseptic technique, sterile environments, and instrument care.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet the needs of the surgical team.
Qualifications Needed:
  • Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or military equivalent training.
  • Certification in Surgical Technology.
  • Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience.
