Job summary

University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City, KS is seeking a Surgical Technologist focused on Neurology, ENT, and Surgical Oncology. The role supports the surgical team, handling instruments, supplies, and maintaining the sterile field. Open shifts start at 6:30am or 10:30am with 4–10 hour shifts and call rotations.

Under RN supervision, you ensure quality patient care during procedures and anticipate surgeon needs while upholding safety and efficiency in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Certificate or Associate’s Surgical Tech degree OR 3 years experience as a Surgical Technologist in lieu of the certificate/degree.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
