Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support intraoperative procedures across our system. You will scrub in, assist with instrument prep, counts, and supply handling, and help move patients while maintaining a clean, organized operating room environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from a Surgical Technologist program or 3+ years of experience, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of approved Surgical Technologist program or minimum 3 years experience.
• Current CPR certification required; CST preferred.
• Certification as CST or equivalent highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub person duties during intraoperative procedures.
• Assist in instrument prep, equipment, and supply handling for surgeries.
• Conduct instrument, needle, sharps, and sponge counts; assist with specimens.
• Assist in applying dressings or casts and moving patients as needed.
• Assist in decontamination/reprocessing areas when assigned.
• Maintain OR and cart inventory to ensure readiness.

Hourly Pay Range: $25.36 - $38.04 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will need:

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist school or minimum 3 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Certification: Current CPR certification required. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) highly preferred

What you will do:

• Perform scrub person duties during the intraoperative phase of surgical procedures
• Assist in the preparation and dispensing of instruments, equipment and supplies required for surgical procedures
• Conduct all instrument, needle, sharps and sponge counts, as well as handle specimens
• Assist in the application of dressings or casts and moving patients
• Assist in decontamination/reprocessing area when assigned
• Maintain inventory in Operating Room and on carts
