Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Main Operating Room in Glenview, IL. The role is full-time or part-time, with standard hours Monday through Friday and an on-call rotation. Education and CST certification preferences apply, and CPR is required.

Relocation assistance not specified. The position involves scrubbing during surgeries, preparing and dispensing instruments, performing counts, assisting with dressings, and maintaining OR inventory.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist school or minimum 3 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Certification: Current CPR certification required. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub person duties during the intraoperative phase of surgical procedures
• Assist in the preparation and dispensing of instruments, equipment and supplies required for surgical procedures
• Conduct all instrument, needle, sharps and sponge counts, as well as handle specimens
• Assist in the application of dressings or casts and moving patients
• Assist in decontamination/reprocessing area when assigned
• Maintain inventory in Operating Room and on carts

Hourly Pay Range:

$25.36 - $38.04 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Surgical Technologist
• Location: Glenview, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: 40 hours per week
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-5:00pm, on call rotation required
• Required Travel: no
