Position Overview

The Surgical Technician, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, will provide patient care in an environment sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. They will set up and maintain the surgical field and assist the surgeon during operative procedures.

Employment Details

• Type: Full-time
• Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting goals for the surgery department, such as room turnover and first-case on-time starts.
• Support training and orientation of associates as directed by the Clinical Educator.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Follow sterile techniques.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of a surgical technology program or a school of practical nursing, with relevant certification or license.
• Current BLS healthcare provider training.
