Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the Operating Room team at Mercy St. Louis Hospital. You will assist the surgical team by providing instruments, maintaining patient privacy, and supporting high-acuity care in a Level I Trauma Center.

Openings for graduate and experienced technologists, with day shifts and both part-time and full-time opportunities. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered and Mercy supports professional growth within a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Surgical Technologists encouraged to apply.
• Non-certified candidates with acceptable surgical technology experience may be considered.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical instruments to the surgical team and maintain instrument accountability.
• Coordinate care of the surgical patient with other team members.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Perform duties in line with Mercy Service Standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
