Job summary

Allina Health in New Ulm, MN is seeking a Surgical Technologist to participate in operative care. You will prepare the OR, assemble and handle instruments, and support the surgical team under RN supervision and surgeon direction.

The role requires a formal Surgical Technology credential, BLS, and the ability to take call after orientation. On-call and weekend rotation may apply, with a day/evening/night shift schedule and 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Certification option: CST or TS-C within 1 year of hire.
• Current BLS certification from AHA, Red Cross, or Allina in-house training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the OR and set up for procedures.
• Identify supplies, instruments and equipment needed.
• Maintain sterile technique and aseptic standards during procedures.
• Assist the surgeon in the scrub role and handle counts and instrument tracking.
