Job summary

East Columbus Surgery Center in Columbus, OH is hiring a full-time Surgical Technologist to join our dedicated team. The role involves scrubbing for surgeries, preparing supplies, and supporting patient care across our ambulatory center.

Under supervision, you will work with physicians and nursing staff, contributing to safe, efficient procedures and ongoing quality initiatives, with a focus on team collaboration and patient well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a surgical technician program or two years of experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures under direct supervision.
• Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment.
• Supports the philosophy and goals of the surgery center and participates in quality improvement activities.
