Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program
• Certification in Surgical Technology
• Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association
• 2+ years of Surgical Technologist experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Plans for and scrubs assigned procedures per standards
• Participates in on-call rotation
• Operates the sterilizer and patient care equipment per instructions
• Promotes hospital processes and communicates issues up the chain
• Updates surgeon preference cards, pulls case carts, stocks rooms, turns over the OR
• Supports quality improvement and delivers results
• Fosters teamwork and responsible resource use
• Delivers high-quality customer service
• Completes other activities as assigned
