Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program or comparable US military program.
• Basic Life Support from AHA or Red Cross.
• 3 years of experience as a surgical technologist or proficiency in two or more surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative patient care using sterile technique.
• Assist the surgical team in operative and invasive procedures.
• Serve as a role model and resource for other staff under RN direction.
