Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma required. Graduate of an approved Surgical Technology Program. Eligibility to register as a Surgical Technologist with the VA Department of Health Professions is required. Must provide certification as a surgical technologist or proof of completing a surgical technologist training during military service.
• Experience: None required.
• Licensure/Certification: AHA-BLS-HCP certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Other: Completion of a structured orientation program.
