Summary of Position

Responsible for preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies for anesthetic procedures. Assist the Anesthesiologist/CRNA in invasive monitoring, induction, and transportation of monitored/high-risk patients.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program with certification, or equivalent military training, or prior employment in surgical technology at Penn State Health or another healthcare facility within the last two years.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Surgical Technology.
  • AHA BLS certification required prior to end of orientation.
