Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ, seeks a Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic OR team. You will assist in the Surgical Suite under supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse or physician and contribute to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

The trained Surgical technologist, under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite.

Experience Required

• 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred

Education Requirements

• Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists

License/Certification Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist Credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or its successor, or other nationally recognized credentialing organization (e.g. NCCT – National Center for Competency Testing, etc.)

Special Requirements

• 0700A-730P
• Weekend, holiday, and call rotation required

Two Year Commitment:

• $4,000 for Full Time
• $2,000 for Part Time

One Year Commitment:

• $2,000 for Full Time
• $1,000 for Part Time
